1,000 Security personnel deployed in Kailali as Dhangadhi tightens security for NCP rally
Dhangadhi: Security has been tightened in Dhangadhi as the Nepal Communist Party's unity message rally is scheduled to take place today. Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel have been mobilized to ensure security for the event at Dhangadhi Stadium.
Chief District Officer Hiralal Regmi said that 1,000 security personnel have been deployed across Kailali district in view of the upcoming NCP unity message rally. He noted that security arrangements have been strengthened at major checkpoints, market areas, and highways throughout the district.
According to the District Administration Office, Kailali, the highest number of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel—1,000 in total—have been stationed in the Dhangadhi area.
A significant presence of security personnel has been observed around Dhangadhi’s main square and the vicinity of Dhangadhi Stadium. The NCP has currently taken out rallies from Campus Chowk and the Dhangadhi intersection.
