Over 800,000 students enrolled across 4,441 educational institutions in Sudurpaschim province

Dhangadhi: The Annual Economic Activity Study 2081/82 reports that as of mid-Ashar, a total of 4,441 educational institutions—including government, private, and community schools, technical schools, and affiliated campuses under Tribhuvan University and Sudurpaschim University—were operational in Sudurpaschim Province.

During this period, 803,854 students were enrolled in these institutions, supported by 24,891 teachers and professors actively engaged in teaching.

The study provides a comprehensive overview of the province’s education sector, detailing student enrollment and teaching manpower, and offers insights into the direction of future educational development.
