Speaking at a discussion and interaction program with municipal heads of Bajhang, federal, provincial and local officials, and security agency representatives on Thursday, he stated that his initiatives to expedite the highway’s development have continued without interruption.

Highlighting its strategic, religious and touristic importance, he said that the north–south corridor, which connects Bajura through Kailali, Doti, Achham and Bajhang before reaching the Taklakot border point, must be constructed at a rapid pace as it is a priority project of the Government of Nepal.
In another context, Chief Minister Shah recalled that the movement on Bhadra 23 aimed to strengthen good governance and end corruption, stressing the need for correction at all responsible levels. He added that the political changes following the 2047 and 2062/063 movements have enabled the country to advance various development and construction works.
