Body of elderly woman found in Seti river in Doti

Doti: The body of a 64-year-old woman was found in the Seti River in Doti.

The deceased has been identified as Dhanmati Dhami, a native of Khairkot, Sigas Rural Municipality-5, Baitadi, and currently residing in Udasipur, Gauriganga Municipality-10, Kailali. Her body was discovered floating near the banks of the Seti River in Babina, Adarsh Rural Municipality, on Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities believe that Dhami may have fallen into the river while returning from a procession at Bhumiraj Temple in Sigas. Doti Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
