Purchaudi Municipality declares public holiday for Giregada Kafalkhana Jatra

Baitadi: Purchaudi Municipality in Baitadi has announced a public holiday today (Friday).

According to the municipality, a local public holiday has been declared on the occasion of the Giregada Kafalkhana Jatra, which is being held at the renowned Ratashila Triveni Dham located in Ward No. 1 of the municipality.

Chief Administrative Officer Bir Bahadur Nepali stated that all government and non-government offices, educational institutions, and other public entities within the municipality will remain closed for the day.

The Giregada Kafalkhana Jatra is celebrated annually, beginning on Kartik Shukla Dashami and concluding on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi, also known as Haribodhani Ekadashi. This year, the festival will commence on Friday and conclude on Saturday, Haribodhani Ekadashi, according to Ganesh Bahadur Gadal, Ward Chairman of Purchaudi Municipality Ward No. 1.
