Light rain likely in hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces today

Dhangadhi: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported the influence of westerly winds in many areas of the western region of Lumbini Province, including Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, as well as in some parts of the western region of Gandaki Province. A weak influence of monsoon and local winds persists in the remaining regions.

As a result, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions of the country and mostly clear in the Terai areas. This afternoon, skies are expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, including Koshi Province, and mainly clear elsewhere. There is a possibility of light rainfall at one or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
