Five arrested with drugs in Kailali
Dhangadhi: Police in Kailali have arrested five individuals on charges of drug possession.
A police team from the District Police Office, Kailali, apprehended three people, including 20-year-old Nasib Rana of Krishnapur Municipality-7, Kanchanpur, from Chauraha, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-2. They were found in possession of 4 grams and 460 milligrams of brown heroin. Police have also taken control of the motorcycle (Se 4 Pa 1745) they were using.
Similarly, 25-year-old Rabi Chaudhary of Tikapur Municipality-5 was arrested after a search of his residence uncovered 180 milligrams of brown heroin and 2 grams and 860 milligrams of hashish. He was taken into custody by a police team from the Area Police Office, Tikapur.
Meanwhile, 32-year-old Ramjivan Rana of Kailaligaun, Laxminagar, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-13, was arrested after police recovered 160 milligrams of brown heroin from his possession. He was detained by a team from the Kailaligaun Police Station.
Police said further investigations are underway against all five suspects.
