Nepali Congress and UML to finalize agenda for Prime Minister Oli's China visit: Home Minister Lekhak
Dhangadhi: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has stated that a unified agenda, jointly agreed upon by the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML), will be presented during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's upcoming visit to China.
Speaking at a press conference organized by the Nepal Press Union, Kailali, in Dhangadhi today, Minister Lekhak dismissed rumors of discord between the coalition partners, emphasizing that the agenda will reflect the shared priorities of the two major ruling parties.
He highlighted that the current government was formed with the objective of ensuring political stability, good governance, and national prosperity. Lekhak affirmed that there are no disagreements between the coalition parties on key issues and reiterated that the government is firmly focused on its mission to foster stability and end chaos.
"The joint mechanism established from the central to the district level, with representatives from both parties, ensures smooth coordination and resolves potential issues between the two partners," he said. He further underscored the government’s commitment to upholding democracy and the constitution, assuring that any activities against these principles will not be tolerated.
