Customs-Evading goods worth Rs 262,000 seized in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: Authorities have seized goods valued at Rs 262,000 in Kanchanpur for evading customs procedures.

A police team from the Area Police Office, Gaddachauki, confiscated items including suits, clothing, groceries, sugar, lentils, potatoes, onions, oil, bicycle accessories, socks, and sweets. The goods, estimated to be worth Rs 262,110, were found abandoned and in a neglected condition.

The seized items have been handed over to the Gaddachauki Customs Office for further action, the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, confirmed.
