Lions Club of Dhangadhi Donates 35 lakhs worth of Medical Machine to Seti Provincial Hospital
Dhangadhi: The Lions Club of Dhangadhi Town has generously contributed a state-of-the-art medical machine, valued at 35 lakh rupees, to Seti Provincial Hospital for the detection of various diseases through blood testing.
President Prakash Joshi of the Lions Club of Dhangadhi expressed the club's commitment to community health, stating that the significant medical equipment was donated to Seti Provincial Hospital. The official handover of the machine took place during a program led by Lions International District 325 Multiple Council Chairperson (PMJF) Lion C. B. Chand, with Dr. Sher Bahadur Kamar of the hospital receiving the machine.
Dr. Kamar highlighted the machine's capabilities, noting that it can conduct tests for vitamin D, vitamin B12, thyroid, and various hormones. The machine's versatility allows for the testing of up to 100 hormones and vitamins, significantly enhancing the hospital's diagnostic capabilities and patient care.
President Joshi emphasized that the donation aims to address the healthcare needs of the people in the Far West region, eliminating the necessity for them to travel to India or Nepalgunj for general health check-ups. The Lines Club of Dhangadhi remains dedicated to contributing to the well-being of the community through such impactful initiatives.
