Fire Ravages Property Worth Two and a Half Lakhs in Doti

Doti: A devastating fire that resulted in the destruction of property valued at nearly two and a half lakhs. The incident unfolded in Mada, Bogtan-Phudsil Rural Municipality-1, where an unoccupied one-story, two-story house, constructed primarily with wood and thatch, became engulfed in flames on Thursday. According to the police, the fire erupted while Bohara's children were playing with fire, and unfortunately, no one was present at the scene. Consequently, the house sustained partial damage due to the fire outbreak.

The extent of the damage caused by the fire is estimated at 248,000 rupees, encompassing the loss of wooden structures, food supplies, clothing, 150,000 rupees in cash, zinc sheets, and a mobile phone, among other items.

Local authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the precise cause and ensure the necessary preventive measures are taken to avert such incidents in the future.
