Far West Youth Gain Practical Insight into Parliamentary Practices

Dhangadhi: The youth of Far West region have been provided with valuable hands-on experience in parliamentary procedures.

The Sudurpaschim Province Youth Council recently conducted a four-day parliamentary exercise in Dhangadhi, aimed at fostering leadership skills among the region's youth. Participants engaged in a model youth parliament exercise, where they received comprehensive knowledge about parliamentary proceedings, government operations, and the electoral process.

The exercise proved instrumental in guiding participants towards making informed leadership choices, familiarizing them with their rights, and nurturing their leadership capabilities. Young individuals from every district in the Far Western Province were invited to partake in the program.

During the event, participants delved into discussions regarding legislative acts, laws, and the implementation process within the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly. The Model Youth Parliament exercise commenced on May 23rd and concluded on the 26th, allowing ample time for comprehensive learning. The Sudurpaschim Province Yuva Parishad has been organizing this annual event.

Yuvraj Kunwar, the executive vice president of the council, emphasized that this program is held each year to empower and equip youth with practical knowledge about parliamentary operations and government functions.
