Bajhang: 11 out of 12 local levels of Bajang are without fire engines. Only Jayaprithvi municipality in the district has a fire station. Chetraj Bajal, City Chief of Jaya Prithvi Municipality, said that the fire brigade is in operation. He said that the municipal fire brigade is kept in the district administration office. Municipal fire engines are being used in fire incidents in the district.

The other 11 local levels of the district do not have fire brigades. All the local levels of the district have access to transport, but there is no fire brigade facility. Locals have said that the municipalities that have access to transport services have not yet purchased fire engines. There are no roads suitable for fire engines due to unorganized settlements in District Headquarters Chainpur Bazar and other places.
