Far-Western University schedules an international conference

Kanchanpur: The Far-Western University, Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur has scheduled an international conference in December. A press conference was held at the university's central office in Mahendranagar on Monday to inform about the forthcoming conference.

Professor Dr. Ammaraj Joshi, Vice Chancellor of Far-Western University, said that preparations are being made to hold an international conference from December 12th to 14th to impart knowledge about Sudurpaschim Province. He said that the Far-Western region is geographically, religiously, culturally, literarily, naturally, and environmentally rich and the conference is going to be held for the purpose of researching and promoting the potential of the region.

As the university is a place for learning, the conference is going to be held in coordination with Oxford University and UK Nepal Academic Council. As an international conference is going to be organized for the first time in the history of Far-Western University, the faculty is optimistic that it will help in the development of various genres taught and researched at the University.
