Locals of Kailash tole face inconvenience due to damaged roads

Dhangadhi: Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan ward number 12, Kailash tole has a problem due to lack of road maintenance. Locals have complained that the road connecting C village via Kailash tole, Dandabasti has not been repaired. Binod Nepali, a local, said that the canal flowing through the Kailash tole destroyed the road last June, but since it was not repaired, he had to take the risk of using the road.

"Everybody, old and young, should walk through this road, but the road has been destroyed by the rain," he said. Locals have said that a hump pipe should be placed in the drain. The Nepalese said that although they have repeatedly requested the people's representatives to put a hump pipe in the drain, there has been no action taken yet.

A hump pipe for the drain seems to have been laid at that place but the work has not been done. "When I tried to contact the ward president Sher Bahadur Mahara to understand this matter, his did not answer his phone."
