Floods in Bhajani of Kailali, more than 200 houses submerged

Dhangadhi: There is flood in Bhajani of Kailali. The floods caused by continuous rains have affected various villages of Bhajani municipality.

According to the District Police Office Kailali, about 125 households in Bhajani Municipality-2 Paltapur, Mohanpur and Tingharuwa tolls have been inundated due to the rain since Thursday night. About 40 houses of Paltapur were flooded due to the flood of the local Kanda river there.

Similarly, 40 houses in Bhajani Municipality Ward No. 7 Shibir Tol have also been flooded by Kandra River. It is said that 37 households of Khalla tole and Pandey tole of Ward No. 8 have been flooded by Patharia river.

Police have informed that 95 people are living in Paltapur in that area after the flooding. Police teams have been deployed at those places.
