Mahakali Municipality and Naugad Rural Municipality of Darchula have been declared disaster-prone areas

Dhangadhi: The government has declared two municipalities of Darchula as disaster prone areas. The cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to declare the geographical area of Mahakali Municipality and Naugad Rural Municipality of Darchula as a disaster prone area.
Annual floods and landslides have been causing great damage in both these local levels. This year alone, floods and landslides have caused huge loss of human wealth.
