Man arrested for murdering his wife was in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A husband who absconded after killing his wife has been arrested in Kailali. The husband killed his wife and injured his daughter in Ward No. 5 of Gauriganga Municipality of the district and escaped.

Sher Bahadur Namjali Magar, who lives in Ward No. 5, was arrested by the police on the charge of murdering his wife Lalita Namjali Magar. According to the area police office Malakheti, he was arrested from the village after the incident this morning.

He killed his wife Lalita Namjali Magar and also injured his daughter Lakshmi Namjali Magar by firing a weapon. Lakshmi is being treated at Seti Provincial Hospital and her condition is critical, police said. The police said that the incident is being further investigated.
