Dhijaraj Bhatta elected as the president of Dadeldhura Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Dadeldhura: Dhijaraj Bhatta has been elected as the president of Dadeldhura Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Dhijaraj was elected as the president by defeating his close rival Bhojraj Bhatta by 95 votes. Votes were cast on Saturday to elect the new leadership. According to the voting results that ended on Sunday morning, Dhijaraj  Bhatta was elected as the president by getting  577 votes while Bhojraj got 482 votes.

Similarly, Deepak Mahata has won the position of senior vice president. He got 611 votes while his closest rival Lalmani Pant got 399 votes. Khemraj Awasthi has won the vice-president of commerce of the association.

Awasthi got 611 votes while his competitor Mahadev Bhatta got 363 votes. Bishnuraj Joshi has won the post of General Secretary. Joshi got 644 votes while his opponent Dinesh Prasad Paneru got 369 votes. Meena Phulara has been elected as the secretary woman.

She won with 657 votes. Phular's opponent Lakshmi Air got only 334 votes. 7 members have also been elected through the election.

Hariprasad Upreti got 706 votes, Sitaram Pandey got 696 votes, Dharmadev Pandey got 676 votes, Mohan Bahadur Deuba got 672 votes, Dhan Bahadur Thakurathi got 651 votes, Lokraj Pandey got 635 votes and Tek Bahadur Ojha 'Bhuvan' got 617 votes. 9 people contested for membership. Sunil Ghimire got 613 votes and Ganesh Singh Sanki got 535 votes. A total of 1,888 votes were cast in the election.
