Ministry of Forest in Far-West breaches the code of conduct for the election by transferring employees
Dhangadhi: Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forestry and Environment of Far West has transferred employees. According to the decision passed on September 7, the Ministry has decided to transfer the officers starting from initial ranks upto the 6th level and in accordance to the decision taken on the 8th, the foresters and the 7th and 8th level employees have been transferred.
The Election Commission had issued a press release on August 18 and instructed not to transfer employees after September 5 However, the Ministry has transferred the staff as there was no notification in the gazette. The Commission has asked to arrange for the employees who have been transferred/posted according to the level and designation approved at the federal, state and local levels, except for those employees who will be employed for the election work, to be sent to work elsewhere and not to be transferred. However, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Forestry and Environment has transferred 42 employees.
It has been alleged that the provincial government has transferred employees in this way against the code of conduct for the election of the state and the House of Representatives to be held on November 20.
