Kailali Multipurpose Campus of Dhangadhi is becoming the venue for political activities
Dhangadhi: Kailali Multipurpose Campus, once known as the prestigious educational heritage of Far West, is now becoming controversial by the day. The campus administration and the campus have been conflicted due to frequent lockdowns and increasing politics.
At the same time, it has been found that leaders and workers of political parties hold their programs, conferences and meetings in the campus. It is said that the morale of the political party workers has increased due to the negligence of the campus administration.
The administration seems apathetic about its control. A student who participated in the program informed that just today, a whole Nepali Congress leader and activists held a program inside the campus. According to him, former Deputy Mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis Shusheela Mishra Bhatt and Congress leader Neepa Chokhal also participated in the program organized by the association.
Similarly, the student leaders of CPN-UML, Biplava-led CPN, United Socialist Party, CPN-Maoist Center and other parties are also complaining that they are obstructing the studies in the name of expanding the party's organization and programs. It is said that as the elections are approaching, the condition of education is deteriorating due to such party programs which are held daily.
On the other hand, the head of the campus Dharmaraj Upadhyay said that the program will be held in the seminar hall inside the campus. But he said that outside leaders were not allowed to come and hold the program.
