Darchula's Changru joins the communication link

Dhangadhi: Goods are being transported by helicopter to construct a tower for Nepal Telecom's 4G service in Byas rural municipality-1, Changru of Darchula. Since Changru cannot be reached by land, helicopters are used to transport goods.

Most of the time the communication link is going to be connected soon after the transportation of telecom goods to Upper Byas in the northern part of Darchula which is without communication. According to Telecom Darchula, the goods including solar batteries, solar panels and devices used in the tower are being transported by helicopter.

With the delivery of goods by helicopter after two days, now the tower will soon be operating Telecom's 4G service at Changru in Byas. Dilbhakta Maharjan, MD of Surftech Pvt Ltd said that the technical team went to Changru by helicopter to install the tower to operate 4G service in Changru.

He said that four technicians will operate the 4G service in Changru next week or 10 days. So far, Nepal Telecom has skyphone service in Byas.
