5 dead in jeep accident in Darchula

Dhangadhi: 5 people died in a jeep accident in Darchula. Provincial Traffic Office Attaria has informed that 5 people were killed when a jeep number SE1J 551 crashed in Shailyashikhar Municipality-6 Ullani of the district.

According to the police, 4 men and 1 woman were killed. Two other men, 3 women and the driver were also injured. The police said that preparations are being made to bring the injured to Gokuleshwar Hospital for treatment. The jeep fell about 250 meters from the road.

The jeep was going to District Headquarters Khalanga from Gokuleswar. District Police Office Darchula said that the police team has reached the accident site and details are yet to come.
