More than 3500 industries registered in Baitadi

Dhangadhi: More than 3500 industries have been registered in Baitadi. Laxman Saund, information officer of the office, said that 3,590 domestic and small industries have been registered in Baitadi till now.

According to him, 754 industries have been registered in the financial year 2078/79. In 2077/78, 131 micro, 418 domestic and 45 small industries were registered. It is said that the number of registered industries in the district is increasing, but the area of ​​production and employment is not. According to Ambadatta Joshi, Head of Household and Small Industries Office, Baitadi, the number of industries has increased but the number of entrepreneurs has not increased.

In some of the registered industries, it has been found that there is no work even after receiving subsidies from the government. Some have commented that industries are registered for government services, facilities and subsidies. The Domestic and Small Industries Office has admitted that it has not yet been able to monitor.
