Congress wins in Triveni municipality of Bajura

Dhangadhi: Karna Bahadur Thapa of Nepali Congress has won the mayorship of Triveni Municipality of Bajura. He won with 4761 votes. His rival Motisingh Budha of CPN-UML got 3586 votes.

Congress' Kamal Kumari Jaishi (Neupane) has also won the post of deputy mayor. She received 4741 votes. His rival Manaraje Budha of the UCPN (Maoist) Central Committee got 3004 votes. The results of five out of nine local levels of Bajura have been made public. UML has won three municipal chiefs and Nepali Congress has won two municipal chiefs. Congress has won three municipal deputy chiefs and UML has won two.
