Delay in the Hydro-power project construction work

In the borders of the Sudurpaschim and Karnali region, the construction of a hydro-power project of 680 MW has been delayed. Deptartment has delayed in the work of depreciation of the deposit started after receiving the electricity production survey of Betan Karnali Sanchaikarta  Hydropower. the project construction work in Karnali river would touch both Surkhet and Achham district. The fund sanctioned for the project is eighty billion rupees, yet the construction work has shown no progress.
