Construction businessmen of Baitadi stage a peaceful sit-in protest

Dhangadhi: Construction businessmen of Baitadi have also staged a peaceful sit-in. They have called an indefinite sit-in. According to the central program of the Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs, a peaceful sit-in has been started in the district as well, said Vikas Chand, general secretary of the Baitadi Construction Entrepreneurs Association.

Chand said that they have started the sit-in demanding amendment of some points of the Public Procurement Rules 2064 BS and removal of price hike in construction materials. A sit-in program has been started in front of the District Administration Office, Baitadi.
