Hail destroys vegetables and winter crops in Doti
Doti: Hail has destroyed vegetables and winter crops in Badikedar village of Doti district. Farmers are worried after the hailstorm on Monday and Tuesday damaged vegetables such as cauliflower, tomato, radish, onion, and other vegetables and blossoming mustard and winter crops.
Bam Bahadur Panadi, a local of Badikedar-4, said that millions of rupees worth of vegetables and winter crops were damaged due to unseasonal rains and hail. According to him, hail has damaged winter potato, wheat, and barley plants. According to the locals, hail has also damaged the ginger fields. It is said that hailstones were also dropped on the oranges and lemons.
