Dhangadhi: Dambar and Bhavana Baduwal of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 of Kailali have not been able to cope with the pain of their sons murder since Tuesday night. They were in shock when they lost their son Bhupendra at a young age of 23. Bhavana calls Bhupendra unconsciously, the only son of the family. But Bhupendra has left forever. Neighbors and friends try to control them by assuring them of maximum action against the culprit.

But the Baduwal couple's tears have not stopped. Baduwal's family was happy on Tuesday afternoon after their son Bhupendra passed the language test for American higher education. Dambar, who has been doing business in Lamki, Kailali, was also busy arranging for his son to be sent to the United States. He was preparing to send Bhupendra to Kathmandu in 1-2 days. On Tuesday evening, as in the previous days, the family members had their dinner. Dambar says, "I was getting ready to eat and go to bed. The son went out of the house after being called by a friend. I could not have ever imagined that he would be murdered." According to him, separate groups of Lamki-Chisapani and Tikapur have been active in criminal activities for a long time. "His son was preparing to go to the US after taking a language test.

He was killed after he refused to be active in both gangs," Dumbar told Dinesh Khabar. "No one should have to suffer like this anymore. But for that, all those active in criminal activities should be punished to the maximum." After the brutal murder of Bhupendra by attacking him with a khukuri near Siddhartha Hotel in Tikapur Municipality-1 on Tuesday night, Lamki is now in mourning. Residents of Lamki have said that Baduwal was brutally killed as the law enforcements could not control the crimes committed in the past. "Those involved in Bhupendra's murder have been active in criminal activities since the past," said Bhagat Baduwal, a member of the Constituent Assembly and a relative of Bhupendra. "Now, this time too, if the culprit escapes the law, such cruel incidents are likely to happen again. Residents of Lamki have demanded that all those involved in the crime should be punished to the maximum."
