After the UML split, Bhim Rawal loses support in his hometown

Dhangadhi: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal, who is considered influential in the Far-West, is going alone in his hometown.
In his hometown, Kul Bahadur Kuwar, the UML-elected chief of Saphebagar Municipality, has also left Rawal. Leaving him alone, he has chosen Madhav Nepal's new party, the CPN-Unified Socialist.

However, Deputy Chief Bimaladevi Budhapa has remained neutral so far. Bhim Rawal is still in UML. In the local level election of 2074 BS, UML had elected the mayor and deputy mayor of two municipalities and the chairman of one village out of 10 local levels of Achham.

The head of a village and a municipality have chosen a unified socialist. Along with Kuwar, Chaurpati village chairman Harka Bahadur Saund is also in the fray. Mangalsen Municipality mayor Padma Bahadur Bohara and deputy mayor Sarita Upadhyaya remained in the UML after the party split.
Mina Saund, Durga Vik, and Bal Bahadur Sodari, elected members of the state assembly from Achham, have already chosen the Unified Socialist Party.
