House catches fire after electrical short circuit in Kailali

Dhangadhi: The fire broke out at the house of Lal Bahadur Chaudhary of Bardagoria Rural Municipality-3, Butkauwa at around 9 pm on Thursday, said ward member Tanka Oli.

He said that all the grains, clothes etc. were destroyed by the fire. However, no human casualties were reported. It is said that the fire started due to an electrical short.

He said that the fire was under control as it was raining at night. The fire was reported to the police but they could not reach the spot due to flooding in the local river.
