A man accused of killing a former teacher in Kanchanpur sent to jail for trial

Kanchanpur: A man accused of killing a former teacher in Kanchanpur has been sent to jail for trial. Ganesh Bohara, a former teacher of Khallamchetti in Bhimdatta Municipality-9 of the district, had died on July 4 after being beaten.

The court has remanded Prakash Pal, his wife Madhu alias Rukma Pal and son-in-law Lal Bahadur Bohara in custody for trial. 

District Court Judge Jayanti Awasthi (Bhatta) said that the case was registered in the district court on July 27 and a heated debate was held on July 30 which remanded Pal and his family. 

Similarly, two others arrested in the same case have been released on bail. Hans Pal and Gomati Pal have been released on bail of Rs 250,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
