Darchula youth disappearance case underway

Darchula: Jaisingh Dhami's incident witnessed by Kalyan Singh Dhami, Bikram Rangkoli and Anita Dhami were taken to the village by the police on Thursday. All the three persons who were brought to Khalanga under police surveillance for questioning on August 2 and were taken to the village after interrogation.

While in Khalanga, journalists and human rights activists were barred from meeting them. After the interrogation on Wednesday, the three were handed over to their relatives late at night and left Khalanga at 5 am on Thursday.

The locals of the village were not allowed to contact the eyewitnesses under any capacity as they were asked to walk separately. Police had reached Timurpata to sign the statement taken from eyewitnesse which was taken at the District Administration Office and Mahakali Municipality on Wednesday. Two policemen have been sent with eyewitnesses.
