Aircraft flying to Dhangadhi from Kathmandu makes an emergency landing in Kathmandu

Dhangadhi: A Buddha Air flight made an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday.

According to the company, the Buddha Air flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadi made an emergency landing in Kathmandu due to a hydraulic problem. An emergency landing was performed at Tribhuvan International Airport by diverting the aircraft from Bharatpur area.

Buddha Air's information officer Dipendra Kumar Karna said that the aircraft made an emergency landing due to a technical problem. According to him, 68 passengers of the aircraft were safely landed in Kathmandu and the passengers were taken to their destination by another aircraft.

According to the airport, Buddha Air's flight BHA 255 from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi landed in Kathmandu at 6.30 pm due to technical problems. Considering the risk of possible accidents, the airport had deployed a security mechanism during the landing of the aircraft. Fire vehicles and ambulances were also on high alert during the landing.
