Dhangadhi: CPN-UML MP and leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the Nepal faction will give a vote of confidence to the Deuba government. Addressing Dinesh Khabar’s Nagrik Sawal on Sunday, he claimed that more than 40 UML lawmakers would give a vote of confidence to the Deuba government.

On the other hand, Khatiwada said that it is the duty of the CPN-UML to complete its five-year term of the parliament by giving a vote of confidence to the Deuba-led government. "We went to court as the parliament should run full time. Therefore, we will give a vote of confidence to the Deuba government, 'he said.' More than 40 UML MPs will give a vote of confidence.”

He believes that the party is facing problems due to the arrogance of Chairman KP Sharma Oli and that Chairman Oli should abide by the party's constitution and decision to unite the party. He said, "Looking at KP Oli's behaviour so far, there is no possibility of party unification. However, if Oli is ready to overturn the decision taken on March 12, the party can be united."

MP Khatiwada has said that the dispute in UML was due to the arrogance of party president Oli. Khatiwada accused Oli of unconstitutionally dissolving parliament and splitting the CPN (Maoist) into two-thirds. Recalling that UML leader Nepal Samu had to face repression and action time and time again due to Oli's strategy of capturing the party and his tendency to try to become the emperor in the party by putting brown beads around him, Khatiwada said that Oli and his group should abide by the party's constitution.
