A girl goes missing after being swept away by a river in Godawari

Dhangadhi: A teenage girl has been reported missing after being swept away in a river in Kailali district.

Aarti Ghartimagar, 18, of Lalpur in Godawari Municipality-6 of the district fell into the Gauri Devi River at the same place on Thursday.

The 18 year old was accompanied by her friend Sita Ghartimagar while bathing in the river in the afternoon. According to Umer Chand, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Malakheti, Sita was rescued by the locals.
