Provincial Youth Council honours eight youths

Dhangadhi: The Provincial Youth Council of the far-western province has honored eight youths. The council has awarded international players and world record holders from the province.

Among the awarded are Manoj Kumar Chand, who can write with 7 different parts of his body, Kalpis Kunwar for rehabilitating drug users, entrepreneur Mansingh Saud, international player Prakash Kumar Chand, tourism entrepreneur Yogendra Bam, Adarsh Youth Club, Dhirendra Chand and world record holder Mukesh Raj Joshi.

Mukesh Raj Joshi from Jaipritivi Municipality - 8 Joshigaun of Bajhang District, set a world record for longest reading marathon for 125 hours. They were felicitated by Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt, Minister for Social Development Lal Bahadur Khadka and Minister of State for Social Development Mana Saud.

Yubaraj Kunwar, executive vice-chairman of the Youth Council Far-West, said that the state youth talents were honored with awards being distributed.
