Minister Joshi inspects the Kailali Prison, claims to repair dilapidated structures

Dhangadhi: Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Purna Joshi has stated that the inmates were involved in a vocational training while inspecting the Kailali Prison on Wednesday. Minister Joshi said that the condition of the physical infrastructure of Kailali jails is very poor.

"We have made plans to inspect the prisons in all the nine districts," said Joshi. "We will start developing the prisons as a rehabilitation facility." There are 484 inmates in the old building of Kailali jail while it has a capacity to accommodate only 150 inmates. Minister Dilliraj Pant, Nepalu Chaudhary and others accompanied Joshi in the inspection.
