Kailali District Administration upholds the prohibatory order
Dhangadhi: The Kailali district administration has upheld the prohibatory order till June 29 to control and prevent the infection of the new variant of the second wave of Coronavirus.
The administration has stated that the ban is likely to remain in place in some areas even after June 29, despite the drop in the number of infections and deaths due to the outbreak of the Coranavirus in Kailali, Chief District Officer of Kailali, Khagendra Prasad Rijal, said that the nature of the prohibatory order has not been decided yet. "Kailali will also modify according to the nature of the ban in other districts.
We will resolve it after discussing with all parties," he told Dinesh Khabar. He said that the issue of operation of public transport is also being discussed. Earlier, the ban had made life difficult for the common people, economic activities had come to a standstill and the country's economy had been hit hard. At present, government and public offices, apart from educational institutions, have made arrangements to provide services by providing minimum number of staff alternately.
Similarly, private vehicles like jeeps, cars, vans, motorcycles and scooters have been allowed to operate in the district. Similarly, taxis and autos have been allowed to operate in the district on the basis of odd/even system with three persons including the driver. Food shops, construction materials, hardware, electronics, rental shops, stationery, bookstores, clothing and fancy shops and tailoring centers are allowed to operate from 6 am to 3 pm. Similarly, hotels, restaurants, snacks and tea shops have been allowed to provide only delivery and takeaway services from 8 am to 8 pm following the health safety standards.
In crowded events, meetings, conferences, seminars, trainings, cinema halls, party palaces, dance halls, clubs, swimming pools, parks, amusement parks, saloons, beauty parlors, health parks, libraries, museums, group sports has been banned.
