Prohibitory order extended in Kanchanpur
Dhangadhi: The prohibitory order issued in Kanchanpur for controlling Coronavirus has been extended. However, the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, has relaxed the ban.
A meeting of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center chaired by Chief District Officer Ram Kumar Mahato has decided to extend the prohibitory order till June 29. This is the sixth time that the administration has extended the prohibitory order in the district. All public transport vehicles will be closed during the prohibitory order. Essential vehicles, such as government, private and freight vehicles will be permitted to operate.
It has been decided to let shops open every day from 6 am to 3 pm, said Prajia Mahato. Industries, factories and other public and private construction works will also be allowed to function. Similarly, government offices, public bodies, banks and financial institutions, non-governmental organizations can now operate by adopting the standards of health security.
All kinds of meetings, conferences, and gatherings will be closed. In case of marriage, only up to 10 people will be allowed to gather following the health criteria.
