Nearly Rs 2.6 million worth of goods recovered in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Around Rs 2.6 million worth of goods has been recovered in Kanchanpur.

A team under the Far Western Provincial Investigation Team (RIT) and the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, recovered a tractor with goods worth Rs 2.59 million on Thursday.

According to Kanchanpur Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Thapa, 660 bananas, tractors and trolleys were smuggled from the Indian border at Belauri Municipality-2 near the Indian border.

They were found helpless. He said that the recovered tractors and trolleys were sent to the Trinagar Customs Office in Kailali for necessary action.
