Ventilator services started in District Hospital Baitadi

Baitadi: A ventilator room has come into operation at the District Hospital, Baitadi.

"After the state government said that the ventilator beds that were not used due to lack of skilled manpower would be taken back, the ventilator room was brought into operation by the existing manpower," said Dr. Vasant Raj Joshi.

Dr. Vasant Raj Joshi is also preparing to add some nursing staff for the ventilator room.

He said that now serious patients suffering from Coronavirus are being treated in the district by putting them on ventilators. One patient is currently being treated on a ventilator, he added.
