Oxygen plant to be installed in Seti Provincial Hospital by Shankar Group and Infinity Holding

Dhangadhi: Shankar Group and Infinity Holding are set to install an oxygen plant in the Seti Provincial Hospital in a few days. As the second wave of Covid-19 has cases increasing, business groups Shankar Group and Infinity Holding have helped various hospitals in the far-western region.

The two groups have so far jointly handed over more than Rs 35 million worth of medical supplies, equipment and technical assistance to hospitals and frontline manpower across the country. Shankar Group and Infinity are providing the necessary support for Seti Provincial Hospital through a social organization called Local Humanity Foundation. Some health items have already been handed over and other items including oxygen plant will be handed over to Humanity Foundation in Dhangadhi in a few days.

The chairman of Shankar Group is industrialist is Shankar Lal Agrawal and the chairman of Infinity Holding is Deepak Bhatt. Bhatta's ancestral home is Ajaymeru 3 Matela in Dadeldhura. Deepak Bhatt, who has a house in Hasanpur of Dhangadhi, is currently living in Kathmandu. Shankar Group and Infinity Holding have also made preparations to connect a state-of-the-art and multi-purpose oxygen plant at Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi in a few days. It is said that the responsibility of connecting the plant brought by air from France has been given to the Humanity Foundation.

The group said that the oxygen plant of Novaire Medicals Company, which will be connected to Seti Hospital, will produce 'high flow' in 45 beds and 700 liters of oxygen daily. In the first phase, both the companies have handed over 100 beds for hospitals and health institutions in the far-western region and the necessary materials to the Humanity Foundation. The company has been supporting the Far Western Province through the Humanity Foundation.

Shankar and Infinity have stated that they will hand over 320 oxygen cylinders ordered from China to the Humanity Foundation for the Far Western Province. Similarly, for the Far Western Province, 1.5 million Than masks and 200 Than PPE sets have also been provided to the Humanity Foundation. Infinity has stated that it will provide other necessary support in the coming days.
