Dhangadhi: The number of deaths due to Coronavirus has been increasing in Far-West. Recently, a 40-year-old woman of Bardagori Rural Municipality-5 of the district died, said Information Officer of Seti Hospital Dilip Kumar Shrestha.

woman was undergoing treatment at the ICU of the hospital and was admitted to the hospital on April 28.

Shrestha said that she was initially diagnosed with severe pneumonia. Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to Coronavirus in Kailali reached three on Friday. A 43-year-old man from Lamkichuha Municipality and a 63-year-old man from Godawari Municipality-11 also died on Friday.

The 43-year-old man from Lamkichuha was admitted to Seti Provincial Hospital on April 20, he was suffering from pneumonia, said Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of Seti Provincial Hospital.

According to Shrestha, the man was being treated on a ventilator and died at around 5 this morning. Similarly, the 63-year-old man from Godawari Municipality Ward No. 11 died while undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital.

There were fifteen fatalities in Far-West on Thursday. Six people died from Kailali, five from Kanchanpur, two from Achham, and one each from Bajhang and Darchula.
