Additional security at Kanchanpur border for Tihar

Dhagadhi : Kanchanpur Police has implemented a special security plan for Tihar.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa informed that security vigilance has been adopted by implementing Tihar-targeted security plan from Wednesday.

The surveillance has been intensified keeping in view the possible criminal activities at the border during the festival, Deputy Superintendent of Police Thapa said that the police personnel will be accompanied with trained dogs during the checking. 

According to him Gaddachauki checkpoint, bus park and other areas were inspected on Wednesday. We are targeting people smuggling drugs, explosives including firecrackers coming from India.
