Maya, who studied Ayurveda, was given a nursing license
Dhangadhi: The Nepal Nursing Council has issued a wrong license to Maya Pant, who has completed a 15 months course for an Assistant Ayurvedic Health Worker (AAHW) at the Paramedical Campus in Dadeldhura. Registrar Binda Ghimire issued the certificate under the Nursing Association instead of the Naradevi Ayurveda Council.
The license for those studying Ayurveda is registered under the Naradevi Ayurveda Council. However, Pant's name has been registered under the Nursing Association.
Maya Pant of Ajayameru Rural Municipality of the district is worried about getting a wrong license. She said that she could be deprived of the public service exam opened by the state government for Ayurveda for the same reason.
Maya also said that if her license is not corrected within a week, she will take legal action against registrar Ghimire.
