Locals troubled due to frequent power cuts in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: There have been irregular power cuts in Dhangadhi since Tuesday. Residents of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis are frequently suffering from power cuts. They have said that they are facing difficulties due to the unavailability of electricity for hours.

Indra Chaudhary of Dhangadhi said, " It's unbearably hot here while the power cuts make it more uneasy. Unnecessary power cuts are disturbing us." But after the rains stopped, irregular cuts started as the heat increased.'

Residents of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis have complained that they are facing more problems due to irregular power cuts while they have to stay indoors to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. 

Roshan Sunar of Dhangadhi said, "Nepal Electricity Authority Dhangadhi Distribution Center has not given any explanation regarding the problem. They don't take calls." 

Meanwhile, the Nepal Electricity Authority Dhangadhi Distribution Center has admitted that there was some problem after the heatwave on Tuesday. Chief of Dhangadhi Distribution Center Surendra Chaudhary said that there are problems in power lines in different places and repair is underway.
