Darchula's first Coronavirus patient returns home after recovering

Darchula’s first Coronavirus patient, a 21-year-old from Mahakali Municipality Ward No. 6, has recovered and returned home.

The 21-year-old was confirmed positive on May 30. He was a returnee from India and was quarantined at Mahendra Namuna Higher Secondary School, Khalanga in Mahakali Municipality. After exhibiting symptoms for Coronavirus, he was admitted to the isolation ward of the district hospital in Darchula.

He was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday after the second and third PCR reports on June 3 and 4 returned negative. Dr. Gajendra Duwal of District Hospital Darchula informed that the boy was discharged from the isolation ward of the District Hospital Darchula after recovering.  Now, a 24-year-old infected man of Mahakali Municipality Ward No. 8 is left in the isolation ward of District Hospital Darchula.
