Speaker Orders Removal of Unparliamentary Words by MP Thapa from Official Record

Kathmandu: Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has directed the Federal Parliament Secretariat to remove unparliamentary words used by CPN-UML parliamentary party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa from the official record.

During today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Manish Khanal demanded the removal of remarks made by leader Thapa on Tuesday, stating that they were unparliamentary.

Speaker Aryal issued the directive to remove the remarks from the official record in accordance with the Federal Parliament Regulations. Immediately after MP Khanal presented his view, UML MP Ain Mahar expressed his objection.
