126 volunteers to conduct voter education program in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A total of 126 volunteers will be mobilized to carry out a voter education program across Kailali. The Election Office announced that one volunteer will be assigned to each of the 126 wards within all 13 municipalities of the district.

Rajesh Chaudhary, Information Officer of the Provincial Election Office, stated that the selected volunteers include women working in fields such as health, social work, and community services. Each volunteer will be responsible for setting goals and providing voter education in their respective wards.

The program will cover topics such as the validity of votes and proper voting procedures. Volunteers will also be provided with sample ballot papers to assist in educating voters at their workplaces.

According to the Election Office, the voter education program is scheduled to run from Falgun 3 to 17.
